First Krems Dementia Conference, “Timely Detection of Dementia”, 05 – 07th November 2019

dementia can be very burdensome for persons with dementia and caregivers. A timely diagnosis can support persons with dementia and provide the right treatment at the right time. 

Fighting stigma and building awareness within our society and foster collaborations between different countries is necessary to develop optimal treatment models. The contributions of researchers, members of different health professions, self- help organizations and interest groups as well as persons with dementia and caregivers will be discussed at the

International participants of different professions and disciplines will offer an insight in the results of research studies and their practical activities of different European countries in the East and West. 

This conference should outline potential ways for collaboration and coordinated activities in an open forum where possible solutions, best practice models as well as research results will be discussed.
